Home Interior Design in Dinajpur | Md. Mahfuz Siddique

Md. Mahfuz Siddique

Location: Dinajpur, Bangladesh | Size: 2,600 sq ft | Project Type: Full Residence Interior Design

The Brief — A Family Home, Not Just a Fitted Space

Md. Mahfuz Siddique wanted a home designed around how his family actually lives. That means separate formal and family living areas. A dining space that feels welcoming, not sterile. A master bedroom that offers privacy and calm. And a veranda that connects the interior to the outside naturally.

At 2,600 sft, this is a generous footprint — but generous space can easily feel empty or disconnected without a clear spatial flow. Our team focused on continuity: every room transitions into the next without visual breaks or jarring style shifts.

Room-by-Room Highlights

Living Room — Formal and Family

We designed two distinct living zones within this home. The formal living room handles guests — clean lines, a structured sofa arrangement, and a feature wall that makes a quiet statement without being loud. The family living area sits separately, softer in tone, with seating arranged for conversation and comfort.

Both spaces share a consistent colour palette so the home feels unified from end to end. You can see the full residence interior design portfolio to compare how we handle multi-zone living across different projects.

Dining Room — The Heart of the Home

The dining area in this project is one of its strongest spaces. We worked with a dining lobby to create a natural transition zone — you don’t walk directly from corridor to dining table. There’s a pause, a visual moment, before you enter.

The dining room itself seats a large family comfortably. Ceiling treatment, lighting placement, and wall finishes were all coordinated together, not treated as separate decisions. See more examples in our dining room interior portfolio.

Master Bedroom — Privacy and Calm

The master bedroom follows a quieter language than the living spaces. Warmer tones, tighter space planning around the bed, and a basin unit designed as part of the room — not an afterthought. The result is a bedroom that feels like a retreat rather than just a room with a bed in it.

Veranda — Bringing the Outside In

The veranda design ties into the family living area. We kept it simple — clean flooring, open sightlines, and detailing that frames the view rather than blocking it. A veranda should feel like an extension of the home, not a leftover space. This one does.

Aquarium Feature — A Personal Touch

One of the distinctive elements in this project is an integrated aquarium feature. Built into the design rather than placed as furniture, it adds life and movement to the living area. This kind of bespoke detail is what separates a designed home from a fitted one.

Working Outside Dhaka — Our Commitment

Many clients outside Dhaka assume they have to compromise — on firm quality, on materials, or on design thinking. That assumption is wrong.

Unique Interior & Design has completed 350+ projects across Bangladesh, including homes in Narayanganj, Noakhali, Bashundhara, and now Dinajpur. Our BICA-affiliated team (registration #19004), led by founder Md. Sarwar Hossain — Vice President of BICA and recipient of the South Asian Business Excellence Award 2025 — brings the same process and professional standard to every location.

Distance is a logistics question. Quality is non-negotiable.
