Welcome to Unique Interior & Design. By engaging our services, visiting our website at www.uniqueinteriorbd.com, or entering into a project agreement with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Us

Unique Interior & Design is a professional interior design and fit-out company registered and operating in Bangladesh, with over a decade of experience in residential and commercial interior design. Our registered office is located at:

2. Scope of Services

Unique Interior & Design provides the following services:

Home & Residential Interior Design
Office & Corporate Interior Design
Restaurant & Hospitality Interior Design
Hotel & Resort Interior Design
Showroom Interior Design
Exterior & Facade Design
2D/3D Design Visualization
Turnkey Fit-Out Execution

The full scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any project will be defined in a separate Work Order or Project Agreement signed by both parties before work commences.

3. Quotation & Pricing

3.1 All quotations provided by Unique Interior & Design are valid for 30 (thirty) days from the date of issuance, unless stated otherwise in writing.

3.2 Pricing is determined on a per square foot basis and varies according to project type, material selections, design complexity, and project location.

3.3 A detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) will be provided to clients before project execution begins. Our pricing is fully transparent — no hidden charges.

3.4 Prices quoted are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are exclusive of any government-imposed taxes, VAT, or duties unless explicitly stated.

3.5 Quotations are subject to revision if the client modifies the project scope, material choices, or site conditions after the initial agreement is signed.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Projects are initiated only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment, as specified in the Work Order.

4.2 Standard payment milestones are as follows (subject to project-specific agreement):

Advance (30–50%) — Due before design work begins
Mid-Project Payment (30–40%) — Due upon commencement of on-site execution
Final Payment (10–20%) — Due upon project handover

4.3 Payments must be made via bank transfer, mobile banking (bKash/Nagad), or any mutually agreed channel. Cash receipts will be provided upon request.

4.4 Work may be paused or delayed if payment milestones are not met on schedule. Unique Interior & Design shall not be held liable for project delays arising from late payments.

4.5 All payments are non-refundable once the corresponding project phase has commenced, except as described in Section 9 (Cancellation Policy).

5. Design Approval & Revisions

5.1 Upon completing the initial 2D/3D design concept, we will present it to the client for review and approval.

5.2 Each project package includes a defined number of design revision rounds as stated in the Work Order. Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit may be subject to extra charges.

5.3 The client must provide written approval (via email, WhatsApp, or signed document) before on-site execution begins. Unique Interior & Design will not be responsible for errors or dissatisfaction arising from work executed on verbal approvals only.

5.4 Any design change requested after on-site execution has begun will be treated as a variation order and may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.

6. Project Timeline & Delivery

6.1 The estimated project timeline will be outlined in the Work Order. Timelines are calculated in working days and commence from the date of advance payment receipt and site handover.

6.2 A standard residential fit-out (3 BHK) typically takes 45–60 working days after final design approval.

6.3 Timelines may be extended due to:

Delayed client approvals or payments
Material unavailability or supply chain disruptions
Unforeseen site conditions (structural issues, access restrictions, etc.)
Natural disasters, strikes, or other force majeure events

6.4 Unique Interior & Design will notify the client promptly of any anticipated delays and provide a revised schedule.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project execution, the client agrees to:

7.1 Provide clear and unobstructed access to the project site during agreed working hours (typically Saturday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM BST).

7.2 Ensure that the site is structurally ready for interior fit-out work before execution begins (civil construction, plastering, waterproofing, electrical backbone etc. completed unless included in our scope).

7.3 Provide timely decisions and approvals — delays in client response may directly impact the project timeline.

7.4 Inform Unique Interior & Design of any building management rules, access restrictions, or third-party contractor activities that may affect our work.

7.5 Designate a single point of contact from the client side to avoid conflicting instructions.

8. Materials & Workmanship

8.1 All materials used by Unique Interior & Design are sourced from reputable suppliers and comply with relevant quality standards.

8.2 We use moisture-resistant and premium-grade materials including HPL boards, PVC sheets, Malaysian process wood, Gorjon/Teak wood, CNC panels, and premium paints as specified in the BOQ.

8.3 Material substitutions may occur only in cases of genuine unavailability, and only with prior written approval from the client. Equivalent or superior alternatives will always be proposed.

8.4 Our work follows BICA (Bangladesh Interior Designers & Architects) structural standards for residential and commercial fit-outs.

9. Cancellation Policy

9.1 Cancellation by Client: If the client cancels a confirmed project:

Before design work begins: 100% of the advance payment will be refunded minus any administrative or consultation costs incurred.
After design delivery but before on-site execution: 50% of the advance payment is refundable.
After on-site execution has commenced: No refund will be issued. Costs already incurred (materials, labor, logistics) will be deducted, and any remaining balance may be refunded at the company’s discretion.

9.2 Cancellation by Unique Interior & Design: We reserve the right to withdraw from a project in cases of non-payment, client misconduct, or conditions making execution unsafe or impossible. In such cases, a fair settlement will be offered based on work completed to date.

10. Warranty & After-Sales Support

10.1 Unique Interior & Design provides a workmanship warranty on completed projects for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of project handover.

10.2 This warranty covers defects arising from faulty installation or workmanship. It does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third-party intervention
Water damage from external sources not related to our installation
Changes made to the work by the client or third parties after handover

10.3 Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@uniqueinteriorbd.com within the warranty period. We will assess the issue and respond within 5 working days.

10.4 Material warranties (furniture, hardware, fittings) are governed by the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms and will be passed on to the client.

11. Intellectual Property & Design Rights

11.1 All design concepts, drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, and creative materials produced by Unique Interior & Design remain the intellectual property of the company until full payment is received.

11.2 Upon receipt of final payment, the client receives a license to use the delivered designs for the specific project site only. Designs may not be resold, reproduced, or used for other properties without written consent.

11.3 Unique Interior & Design reserves the right to photograph, document, and publish completed project work in its portfolio, social media, website, and marketing materials, unless the client expressly requests confidentiality in writing before project handover.

12. Confidentiality

12.1 Both parties agree to treat any sensitive business, financial, or personal information shared during the project as confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without prior consent.

12.2 This clause does not restrict Unique Interior & Design from showcasing completed project imagery as described in Section 11.3.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1 Unique Interior & Design’s total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that specific project.

13.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of business, loss of income, or property damage unrelated to our direct scope of work.

13.3 We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions, or utility failures at the project site.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or any project agreement, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation within 15 days of the dispute being raised.

14.2 If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be referred to mediation facilitated by a mutually agreed third party.

14.3 If mediation is unsuccessful, the matter shall be resolved through the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

15. Website Use

15.1 The content on www.uniqueinteriorbd.com — including text, images, project photos, and design concepts — is the property of Unique Interior & Design and protected under applicable intellectual property laws of Bangladesh.

15.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any website content without prior written permission.

15.3 We make every effort to keep information on the website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy at any given time. Pricing, availability, and project details are subject to change.

15.4 Links to third-party websites may be present on our site. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

16. Privacy

Your personal information shared with us through inquiry forms, WhatsApp, email, or telephone is used solely to communicate with you and manage your project. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

17. Amendments to These Terms

Unique Interior & Design reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be published on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
